Chord Generator
Generate chord progressions and harmonic ideas for songs in a chosen style.

What This Tool Does
Chord Generator creates usable chord progressions for songwriting, arranging, and demo building. It helps producers, singers, and songwriters sketch harmony for a verse, chorus, bridge, or full section without spending time testing random chords.
Enter a genre, mood, song section, key, and tempo. The tool then returns a progression that fits the requested style and stays practical to play on guitar, piano, or in a DAW. It is useful when you need a starting point for a new song, a replacement for a weak section, or a variation that keeps the harmonic movement clear.
How to use it: pick the section you need, describe the mood in one short phrase, and include the key if you already know it. Strong input makes a stronger result. For example, “uplifting chorus in D major” gives the model a better target than a single word like “happy.”
This tool works well for original songwriting, rough pre-production, and quick harmonic exploration. It is less suitable when you need strict classical analysis, detailed jazz reharmonization, or exact imitation of an existing song. Avoid asking for a direct copy of a known track, and avoid overly broad prompts that do not mention section or style.
Output should be a clean chord progression with enough structure to test immediately. Expect standard chord symbols, section labels when useful, and progressions that stay within the requested style. Tips: include key, mood, section, and tempo; mention if you want a simple loop, a stronger lift into the chorus, or a softer bridge. Caution: harmonic results are starting points, so you may still want to transpose, simplify, or reharmonize them to fit your melody.
